Trim & Summerhill Parish Assemblies Collaborate

Enriching Parish Pastoral Life

Trim & Summerhill Parish Assemblies Collaborate

Congratulations to Trim and Summerhill Parishes who completed their Parish Pastoral Assembly training in the Pastoral Centre, Trim with Fr. Paul Crosbie, Fr. John Kennedy and Fr. Derek Darby.

Members were commissioned at Sunday Mass, 23rd June. The parish assembly is an advisory group to assist with pastoral life in the parish. It will focus, for instance, on preparing parents and children for sacraments and look at how we can better celebrate the Sunday Mass as the key moment in the spiritual life of the parish. The parish assembly will also work with neighbouring parishes in the coming years as the task of clustering parishes into new groupings becomes more pressing.

Pictured below are members of the Summerhill Parish Pastoral Assembly with Fr. Vincent McKay who completed the diocesan training.
